TREATMENT OF INORGANICS DURING THE GASIFICATION OF RESIDUES

The aim of the TIGRE project, through the creation of an industrial chair, is to develop a new model for the thermochemistry of industrial gasifiers, and more specifically for the behaviour of inorganics during the various phases of the gasification process.
The predictive models that will be developed aim to improve the operation of industrial gasification plants through :
> a better understanding of the conditions under which equipment fouls,
> a reduction in the concentration of elements that reduce the efficiency of catalysts,
> and by separating the toxic elements contained in the products to ensure specific packaging.
