TREILLESOL

PHOTOVOLTAICS AND VITICULTURE

Intensified sunshine, due to climate change, will affect the quality and yield of crops if farming configurations are not modified. Against this backdrop, the aim of this project is to demonstrate the positive impact of new photovoltaic technologies on open-field wine-growing.

The project involves the installation of a 2.54 MWp agrivoltaic power plant, whose output will be fed into the grid, equipped with 3D bi-facial tracker technology capable of providing appropriate shading for the vines and maximising energy production.
