FLOATING AND SAILING OFFSHORE WIND TURBINE 1/15 SCALE DEMONSTRATOR

The aim of the Wind's Eye project is to develop an innovative vertical axis wind turbine technology that will deliver good energy performance while facilitating equipment maintenance and making significant savings during construction, with potential applications in the floating offshore wind energy sector in particular.

Initially, the aim is to develop a demonstrator on a scale of 1/15th to validate the architectural concepts in terms of aerodynamic performance and mechanical resilience.
