More than 60 participants attended the webinar "Digitalisation to boost business competitiveness", co-organised by the Capenergies and SCS clusters on Tuesday 20 October. This special event is designed to give small and medium-sized industrial businesses the keys to understanding digital transformation, helping them to make the leap to Industry 4.0 and boost their competitiveness.
Following a review of the key concepts underpinning industrial digitisation by the SCS DivisionAt the conference, participants were able to learn from the experience of digitalization projects in the energy sector. Enedis and Capenergies used a number of examples to illustrate the conditions for the success of artificial intelligence projects (data, code and machines) and the need to involve experts and end-users. These recommendations were rounded off by contributions from Nextra Partners through an example of an artificial intelligence application for optimised energy distribution.
Lastly, the webinar concluded with the central question of the specific financial arrangements for digitisation. Rising South presented the support options offered by the Parcours Sud Industrie 4.0 in the SUD region and Capenergies a number of grants available under the Recovery Plan.
