The Capenergies network rallies around strong ambitions for a successful 2023 General Assembly

As part of the renewal of the competitiveness cluster" labelCapenergies presented its ambitious action plan for 2023 to 160 members and partners on 2 June at the Stade Maurice-David in Paris. Provence Rugby Club in Aix-en-Provence.

Our ambition up to 2026 and beyond is to always be ahead of the game to work with the cluster's ecosystem to develop breakthrough technologies and solutions to meet the priority challenges of sobriety, decarbonisation and green industrialisation needed to accelerate the Energy Transition between now and 2030!

For its 1era General Meeting as Chairman of the Capenergies cluster, Christophe Bourmaud - Director of the CEA in Cadarache, was joined by the cluster's last two presidents to celebrate 18 years of Capenergies!

Inspiring guests and testimonials

The cluster's actions in 2022 and those to come were illustrated by the testimonies of 4 companies who came to share their successes:

HY2GENwinner of major calls for projects as part of the Hynovera and Hynovar regional projects;

WIT has put its innovative solutions to the test on the Friche la Belle de Mai site in Marseille to optimise the energy performance of a group of buildings. The result: savings of 30% by 2022;

L'ISFIN created at the end of 2019 aims to make Aix Marseille University a benchmark centre within 10 years. in the fields of nuclear instrumentation, nuclear structures and materials, and fusion sciences;

SONERGIA supports the European project CONCERTO RENOV  in which Capenergies is a partner, with the aim of developing a platform of services to facilitate home renovation.

Guest of honour and climate sociologist, Stéphane La BrancheThe results of several years of research into changing individual behaviour in relation to climate change were presented. A subject that attracted a lot of interest!

 

In terms of energy savings, " Even if we know perfectly well that putting a lid on a saucepan of water saves energy and lowers our electricity bill, we don't do it for that reason. We do it so that the food cooks faster and saves time in preparing the meal. But the energy savings are real. "

This is a striking example, which suggests that people's levers for action are multi-factorial, changing and more complex than the projections that have been put forward, which opens the way to new levers for mobilisation.

 

Fruitful professional exchanges

With almost 200 BtoB meetings planned and conducted in 100% face-to-face sessions In the afternoon, the cluster's Business Meetings were a real success, on a par with the editions held before the health crisis. The level of participation testifies to the commitment of our members to the life of the cluster, and above all to the quality of the meetings and relationships they are able to forge.
